Well -cmanaged 2lb off this week :) prob down to being ill but its down :)
Not a lot to say because panicking so much about uni work so off to do research/essay writing etc etc!

Day 2 in the WW household :)
I printed out a photo of fat and put it on the cupboard - oh my word it is GROSS! if that does not put me off food when I am not hungry I dont know what will!!! Thought about putting my fat photo up too but I hate looking at myself and it makes me feel sad and I want to feel happy and motivated not sad and deflated!
Apparently 3500 cals is 1lb fat - thats a hell of a lot of cals to lose aint it in a week :) but if you look at 1lb of fat it is loads so I guess when I used to say only lost a half - if you actually know what it looks like its a lot :)
Went into Leeds today and bought some lovely things at the chinese supermarket for my noodle soup - BUT I have just got the shock of my life at how many points rice noodles are! But all the rest is veg and water and low point seafood :)
Im wanting to follow others peoples blogs too but dont know how to join - am hoping I can see them through bryerhills when she has done it :) fingers crossed.

OH is watching jools holland yuk ! but they have rodrigo on who supported Muse and have been trying to find them for ages :) whoop whoop!
Very weird being totally sober on a new year not even a glass of fizz! but here is to a cracking ten - being my soooo lucky number and I have my anniversary on the 10th of the 10th this year - wouldnt it be cracking if I was 10 stone TOO :)

Not the way to start a weight journey!
I chipped my tooth over christmas on the 1kg bar of dairy milk my neighbour bought me - you know I said it was the best pressie I had ever received. How can I say that? How can I be so shallow and motivated by chocolate??? Get a grip gal! I have half of it left and I feel urgh looking at it so am going to give it to the kids up the street :)
Anyway its made me eat very carefully and not often BUT then i get a bug (have to send in sample to check its not ecoli) and doc says until the infection passes through my body only drink water and full fat coke - WELL - I have lost 5lbs in 2 days and I am not dehydrated cos she checked but this is not the way to start my weight loss and I guess it might pile back on once I start eating!
Wondering how I improve my blog to like some of the others I have seen including gadgets and stuff!

Getting Ready for 2010
I have printed out my 5 step poster for the cupboard in the kitchen!
- Eat when you are hungry
- Eat the food you are hungry for
- Find out why you eat when you arent hungry
- Taste every mouthful
- Stop eating the moment you are full
Common Sense eh but I need to remind myself when I go in to the kitchen to snack!
Over Xmas I topped my heaviest ever and I guess its been good to be ill and off for food for 2 days - hopefully shrinking my tummy to a normal size :)
I hate being fat because
- I cant wear nice clothes
- I look horrible
- I have daily back pain
- My joints hurt
- It affects my confidence
- It affects my mental health
I love food - well I think I love food - I 'trough' I dont really taste it - It comforts me - it gives me something I am not getting from somewhere else - its a viscious circle. I have to tackle my weight and then I can tackle my other issues.
Starting with food and then I will sort out my exercise. I know WW works but I am going to try the 5 step plan first because I need to retrain my body to feel hunger and eat when I am hungry and not just eat because I am in a pattern i.e. 3 meals a day.
I will get weighed fortnightly and reward myself every 7lbs :)
Off to look for some inspirational quotes for another poster.
