I have printed out my 5 step poster for the cupboard in the kitchen!
- Eat when you are hungry
- Eat the food you are hungry for
- Find out why you eat when you arent hungry
- Taste every mouthful
- Stop eating the moment you are full
Common Sense eh but I need to remind myself when I go in to the kitchen to snack!
Over Xmas I topped my heaviest ever and I guess its been good to be ill and off for food for 2 days - hopefully shrinking my tummy to a normal size :)
I hate being fat because
- I cant wear nice clothes
- I look horrible
- I have daily back pain
- My joints hurt
- It affects my confidence
- It affects my mental health
I love food - well I think I love food - I 'trough' I dont really taste it - It comforts me - it gives me something I am not getting from somewhere else - its a viscious circle. I have to tackle my weight and then I can tackle my other issues.
Starting with food and then I will sort out my exercise. I know WW works but I am going to try the 5 step plan first because I need to retrain my body to feel hunger and eat when I am hungry and not just eat because I am in a pattern i.e. 3 meals a day.
I will get weighed fortnightly and reward myself every 7lbs :)
Off to look for some inspirational quotes for another poster.
